Mrs. Evelyn Juanita Steadman Murphy, age 85 of Oxford, MS. formerly of Drew, MS. passed away Tuesday January 3, 2017 in Franklin, TN. Born in Drew, MS. on February 14, 1931. Retired from secretarial work. A loving mother and grandmother, she loved taking care of her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Elton Steadman and Lois Moore Steadman, son, Brad Murphy. Survivors include her son, Blake (Kellye) Murphy of Franklin,TN; daughters, Dawn Murphy of Dallas,TX and Laura(Chris) Sawyer of Ft. Myers, FL; grandchildren, Sarah Trantham, Ryne, Drew, and Maris Murphy; and great-grandchildren, Lauren and Parker Trantham.
