Gordon Owen Reese, age 80, of Franklin,TN passed away suddenly Nov. 25, 2016 at his residence. Owen was owner and operator of Owen Reese Reality , member of Hiram Masonic Lodge #7,Shriners Al Menah Temple, and Veteran of the U.S. Marines. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards. Son of the late Joseph Wheeler Reese and Susie Lee Mathis Reese, he is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Reese. Survived by his three daughters, Nancy Reed, Pam Reese and Stacie Reese (Matt Wallin), sister, Betty Jo Dickerson, grandchildren, Jennifer(Scott)Massey, Allison (David Pate) Reed, Mattie Wallin , great grandchildren, Owen and Logan Massey. Services will be conducted 1:00PM Sunday Nov. 27, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation with the family will be 4-8PM on Saturday and 11:00-1:00PM on Sunday. A Masonic Service will be conducted on Saturday at 5:00PM at Williamson Memorial. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery with Military Honors. Active Pallbearers, Bubba Alexander, Reid Lovell, Danny Davis, Donnie Cameron, W. D. Dozier, Fred Bennett, Kenny Ray Vaughn, and Dennis Anglin. Honorary Pallbearers, Bill Dickerson, Dan Parsons, Dr. A.J. Lee, Valarie Padgett, Chris Martin, Royce Johns, David Stephens, Eddie House, Johnny Tomlin, Jimmy Cromer, Marcino Garcia, and all of his card playing buddies.
