Swain Gail Booker – 81 of Luttrell, born July 6, 1935, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Luttrell. Gail served on the Union Farmers Co-op Board of Directors, Union County Farm Bureau Board of Directors and served 28 years on the Union County Election Commission. Gail is preceded in death by parents, Reverend J. V. and Delphia (Boruff) Booker; siblings, Carroll Booker, Christine Jackson, Wilma Loope and Marjorie Booker; and great granddaughter, Daryn Corum. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Warwick Booker; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Dale Corum, Patti and Len Padgett, Janie and Carlton Coram, and Candy and Clark Ailor; grandchildren, Dale Corum II, Dwayne (Darla) Corum, Joe Padgett, Lakin Swain Brock, great granddaughter Dalyn Corum; sisters, Peggy Wood and Sharon (Opi) Senrano-Flores; brother-in-law, Don Jackson; and sister-in-law, Zettie Booker. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will immediately follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Ernest Green, Reverend Ray Headrick and Reverend Joe Padgett officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Trinity Funeral Home and go in procession to Haun Cemetery in Luttrell for a 2:00 p.m. interment service.
