Our beloved Deborah “Debbie” Lee Reynolds Thompson 64 of Abilene was promoted to heaven on October 16, 2016. A Funeral service is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. in North’s Memorial Chapel with Pastor Keith Clifton officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening in North’s Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange St. Debbie was born July 31, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to James and Thelma (Hurley) Reynolds. She graduated from Hillsdale High School in San Mateo, California in 1970. She married her high school sweetheart, David Thompson on October 3, 1970. She was a loving and devoted mother to her two children, Jennifer and Brian. She was a happy stay at home mom for many years. She served in many roles in PTA and Big Country Soccer. After the kids were grown she began her career in Hallmark and recently celebrated her 25th anniversary with the company. She adored her six grandchildren and spent countless happy hours with them. Debbie is known by family and friends for her generous and loving heart. She was preceded in death by parents James and Thelma Reynolds. She is survived by her husband David Thompson of Abilene, daughter Jennifer Voss and husband Scott of Abilene, son Brian Thompson and wife Kim of San Angelo, step- father Gene Schmidt of Tulsa, brother Keith Reynolds and wife Valerie of Apple Valley, MN, sister Sherri Carson and husband Tom of Skiatook, OK. Grandchildren; Matthew, Jacoby, Kate, Bradley, Natalie and Ezra, nieces and nephews; Jason Reynolds, Chris Autrey, Stephanie McGhay and Shawn Reynolds.
