In Loving Memory of Francisco Barrera, Jr. August 22, 1961 ~ December 24, 2016 Francisco Barrera, Jr., 55, of Angleton, Texas passed away peacefully at his residence on December 24, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born in Edinburg, Texas on August, 22 1961 to Francisco Barrera, Sr. and Carmen (Cervantes) Barrera. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral service mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at St. Michaels Catholic Church. Francisco was a loving husband, father, and son to his wife, children and parents. He worked for the TDCJ-Darrington Unit as a Dog Sergeant, which he loved. Francisco loved being outdoors and hunting. He genuinely cared about others and lived his life with amazing morals. Left to cherish Francisco’s memory is his wife, Francisca Mary (Gallegos) Barrera, his children; Gus Diaz, Erika Barrera Rodriquez husband Joe, Diego Villavicencio, and Daniella Barrera. Also left to cherish his memory is Oscar Barrera, Ambrosio Barrera, and Carman Flores Olga Mejia. He also leaves behind his 6 grandkids, and numerous nieces and nephews.
