Clarice was born Oct. 11, 1936, in Memphis, Tenn., to Edward Hugh Ashburn and Era May Johnson Ashburn. She enjoyed a very full life of work and travel and cherished her many friendships. Survivors: Sons, David Burch and wife, Leticia, Jerry Burch and wife, Donna, and Billy Burch; two brothers; three sisters; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
