Cruz Riojas

Cruz Ancira Riojas 85, of Austin TX, passed away Saturday August 13, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born February 17, 1931 in Lockhart, TX to the late Encarnacion and Carmen Ancira Riojas. Cruz was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Cruz served his country honorably in the U.S Army and Air Force. During his time of service he played football for the Air Force and received a medal of Good Conduct. Cruz was an entrepreneur with a wide range of business ventures during the last 40 years. Cruz was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Emily Mendez Riojas; brother Guadalupe Riojas Sr., sister Lucy R. DelaRosa, daughter Gloria Caudillo, and grandson Carlos Caudillo, survived by brothers Encarnacion Jr. and Felix Riojas, sisters Bobbie Quiroga, Carmen Carnell. Children, Diana Ochoa (Augie), Patty Herrera, Theresa Riojas, Catherine Ann Gonzales (Joseph), Lorenzo Caudillo, Yvonne R. Torrez (Fred), Ralph Riojas (Sophia), Bernadette Riojas-Perez (Gilbert). The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. with the Prayer Service at 7:00 pm.
