Ann Melinda James, 67, of Humble went to be with her Lord Saturday, February 25, 2017. She was born Wednesday, October 12, 1949 in Fayetteville, AR. Ann is survived by her husband, Alan James; sons, Zachary James and wife Laurie, Scott James and wife Emily; grandchildren; Rachel, Miles, Sarah, Audrey, Trevor and Max; sister, Nan Falkner; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Millie Duggar; brother, Allen Duggar. Ann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived a miracle of love and life and courageously fought a twenty year battle with cancer. She was able to enjoy her sons and their families, spend precious time with grandchildren, play a lot of tennis, enjoy a lot of friends, enjoy her sister, and have good times with her husband. Her strength and courage were an inspiration to fellow patients she encountered during her twenty year fight. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 6, 2017 at Kingwood United Methodist Church in Kingwood. In lieu of flowers, Ann's family request donations to be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www.donate.lls.org.
