Mary Lou Vela entered into eternal rest on November 10, 2016 at the age of 70. She was born on October 14, 1946 in Yorktown, TX to Mateo and Amelia (Guerrero) Aguero, Sr. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Jessica Marie Vela; and brother, Mateo Aguero, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Jesse Vela and Edward Vela; grandchildren, Jesse Vela Jr., Dillon James Vela, Briana Vela, Edward “E.J.” Vela, and Brandon James Villarreal; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Salinas and Diana Salinas Banda (Ricky Pena); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Finch Funeral Chapel- Yorktown, and the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening at the funeral home. Funeral Mass Tuesday, November 15, 2016 10:00 am San Luis Catholic Church Yorktown, TX Father Roger Hawes will officiate the service. Interment will follow at San Luis Catholic Cemetery in Yorktown.
