Millie Eardley, age 87, passed away on January 30, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. Millie was born on December 4, 1929 to Lovick Edward Garnett and Nannie Canada Hart Garnett in May, Texas. Millie married Melvin Eardley on June 29, 1960 in Seguin, Texas. Millie is preceded in death by her parents; sons, J.W. Eardley and Michael Shelton; four brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Melvin Eardley; sons, Jerry Shelton, Melvin Eardley II (Ruby), and Shane Eardley (Barbara); daughter, Brenda Coleman (Ronnie); 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas. FUNERAL SERVICE Friday, February 3, 2017 10:00am Finch Funeral Chapel Burial at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 10:30am. Pastor Butch Ikels will be officiant of the services.
