Mrs. Fannie Harlowe Lindsay, age 91, of Clifton Forge, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Alleghany Health and Rehab, Clifton Forge. Mrs. Lindsay was born May 4, 1925 in Buchanan, the daughter of the late Norvell Mason Harlowe and Reva Harlowe. A resident of this area for most of her life, Fannie was employed as a machine operator by the former Industrial Rayon. She was a member of First Christian Church. Mrs. Lindsay is survived by a son, Rodney W. Harlowe of Covington and a granddaughter, Clara Lynne Harlowe. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lindsay was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Lynn Lindsay. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Alleghany Memorial Park with Rev. Virgil Woodie officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Loving Funeral Home; www.lovingfuneralhome1913.com.
