Mrs. Nina Eloise Bartley Seay, age 86, of Covington, died Monday, December 26, 2016, at the Highland House, Clifton Forge. She was the wife of the late James “Justice” Seay who passed away November 16, 1993. Mrs. Seay was born August 15, 1930 in Covington, the daughter of the late Clarence and Irene Peery Bartley. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church and also attended Faith Baptist Church. Eloise was employed by the former Halmode Apparel for fifteen years. Mrs. Seay was a member of the Falling Spring Diners Club. Mrs. Seay is survived by two sons, David Seay and wife, Marisa Wade Seay and Daniel Seay and wife, Stephanie King Seay; three daughters, Gail Wolfe and husband, Gerald Wolfe, Pam Burks and husband, Melvin “Buddy” Burks; Susan Fridley and husband, Delbert Fridley, all of Covington; one brother, Gene Bartley and wife, Rosalee of Covington; one sister, Shirley Bartley Robey of Covington; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews . In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Seay was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda Sue Cobb; an infant daughter; an infant son; two brothers, Virgil Bartley and Marion Bartley; one sister, Dorothy B. Cordell; and sister-in-law, Juanita Bartley. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29, 2016 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Riley officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Loving Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Arron Seay, Samuel Wolfe, Tanner Seay, Levi Seay, Adam Christie and Steve All.
