Maude Musick Wells, age 88, of Honaker, Virginia, Passed away Tuesday (December27, 2016) at Clinch Valley Medical Center in, Richlands, Virginia. Born March 24, 1928 in Russell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Alden and Belle Saylor Musick. She was a lifelong resident of the area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Wells; one son, Douglas Wells; three brothers, Lloyd Musick, Gid Musick, and Mid Musick; two sisters, Opal Harris, and Geraldine Didon. Survivors include her sister Gedie Cutcher and husband, Cletus “Buzz” of Port Clinton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel at Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Steve Lester officiating. Interment will follow in the Meade Cemetery at Honaker, Virginia. Pallbearers will be John Lester, Dustin McCoy, Jason McCoy, John Woodward, Gary Woodward, and Tony Woodward. The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 12 noon on Thursday.
