Lorraine “Sally” Waldruff, 89, of Winchester, VA, died Monday, November 28, 2016 at her home. She was born August 17, 1927 in Massena, NY; the daughter of German L. and Gertrude Hollister Flynn. She retired from St. Regis Nursing Home as a social worker in 1983. Sally married Samuel Waldruff October 6, 1943 in Massena, NY. He preceded her in death August 25, 2012. She is survived by four children, Kent Waldruff and his spouse, Elizabeth of Vancouver, British Columbia, Lynn St.Pierre and spouse, Stephen of Massena, NY, Kimmon Waldruff of Winchester and Kurt Waldruff of Brucetown, VA; four grandchildren, Hannah Tierney, Connor Waldruff, Lennis Waldruff and Margaret Waldruff; four great grandchildren, Daire, Katie, Ella, and Lennox Tierney; two nephews and one niece. Sally is preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Bogart and Jean Stark and two brothers, Harold Flynn and Billy Flynn. A funeral service will be held Sunday December 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in Winchester, VA with Rev. Michael Q. Mayton officiating.
