Mary Fauver

Mary “Marie” Fauver, 100, of Winchester, VA passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Envoy of Winchester. Marie was born December 3, 1916 in Martinsburg, WV; the daughter of the late William H. and Mamie Perrell Parkinson. She graduated from Martinsburg High School with the class of 1935. Marie was a “Domestic Engineer” of her own home and very proud of it. She was a member of Centenary Reformed United Church of Christ, as well as a member of the Winchester Exchange Club. She married William Edward Fauver August 25, 1937 in Hagerstown, MD. He preceded her in death January of 2001. She is survived by her son, Greg Fauver and his wife Patsy of Winchester; a grandson, Paul Fauver and his wife Crystal of Gore, VA and three great grandchildren, Emma and twins Savannah and Caroline. The family will receive friends January 12, 2017 at Jones Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00 am with a funeral service following at 11:00 am. Rev. Kelly Sisson will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Centenary Reformed United Church of Christ Building Fund, 202 S. Cameron Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
