Robert Jones

Robert G. “Bob” Jones, age 66, of Dogwood Ct., Cumberland, MD passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born November 27, 1950 in Grafton, WV a son of the late Bobbie Edison and Julia Justine (Upton) Jones. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Harbaugh) Jones; one daughter, Heather Marie (Jones) Allen and husband Frank, of Grafton; four grandchildren, Haley Autumn Jones, Casey Brooke Allen, Matthew and Michael Allen; one sister, Arletta Jo Lamb and husband Parker and Michael L. Jones and wife Terry, all of Orange Park, FL; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bob graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 1968. He was a Carman for the CSX Railroad Company in Cumberland, MD with 35 years of service and was a member of the Cumberland Moose Lodge 271. He enjoyed his family, spending time with his girls, and fishing. The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Tuesday, December 6th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with John Green officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton.
