Rosa Hartley

Rosa Lee Hartley, age 68 of Park Blvd., Grafton, WV passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her residence. She was born June 18, 1948 in Grafton, WV a daughter of the late Roy James Hartley and Carrie Etta (Poling) Hartley. She is survived by two sons, James Allen Hartley and Tim Michael Hartley; seven grandchildren, Alicia, Amanda, James A. Hartley, Jr., Aiden, Tim Michael Hartley, Jr. Briley and Leviah, all of Grafton; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Emily Hartley of Buckhannon, Daisy Skiles of Grafton, and Helen Dalton of Morgantown; also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Hartley and one sister, Wanda Jean Hartley, who died in infancy. Rosa graduated from Philip Barbour High School with the Class of 1966. She enjoyed her grandchildren, working crossword puzzles, and enjoyed the outdoors. The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Thursday, January 5th and from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Don Harward officiating. Interment will follow at the Halleck Cemetery in Monongalia County.
