Angel Fawn Hodge, 33 of Beckley, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at her home. Born December 3, 1982 in Beckley, WV to Larry and Leisa Blevins of Beckley. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shawna Blevins; grandmothers, Juanita Gillian and Garnett Miller; grandfathers, Ernie Miller, Dallas Jones, and Freddie Wriston; brother, Bobby Hodge uncles, Timothy Blevins, Dean Jones, Michael David Peterson, and Donald Hodge; aunts, Drema Miller and Vickie Dixon. Angel needed no introduction. She was well known throughout the community as a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend and always attended and supported her children’s sports activities. She had a superior heart of gold and would make anyone’s day brighter with her smile and witty personality. Her and her husband always watched NASCAR together and always made sure he and her children were always taken care of. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 2000 and remained a homemaker ever since. Angel touched many lives and will be sadly missed. In addition to her parents, Larry and Leisa, she is survived by her husband and love of her life, Aaron Hodge and their children, Cameron, Riley, Jagger, Piper, and Jerzee Hodge all of Beckley; grandmother, Joyce Wriston of Beckley; siblings, Shawn Blevins, Cohen Blevins, Case Blevins and companion Megan Adkins, Colt Benson, and Lariat Moody all of Beckley; grandparents, Ruby Jones, Maxine Hodge; father and mother-in-law, Rick Hodge and Cheryl Jones; special aunt, Trisha Nish of Beckley; uncle, Gene Jones; cousins, Jay and Cassie Jones and their 6 children, Erica Bowden and husband Charles, Erin Price and husband Cory; also a host of nieces, nephews, and certainly a multitude of friends. Services for Angel will be conducted at 1pm on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church in Crab Orchard with Pastor Roger Pauley, Pastor Kelly Bowman, and Pastor Ken Killen officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held at the Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 5-9pm.
