Bobby Workman Obituary

Bobby Lee Workman, 62 of Cyclone, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Hilltop Nursing Center in Glen Jean following an extended illness. Born October 2, 1954 in Man, WV to the late Charles Workman and Minnie Lusk Workman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Vernie Workman and a brother, Michael Workman. Bobby was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and go camping and spending time with his family while doing so. He was a former coal miner with Peabody and Eastern Coal. Those surviving include his wife of 25 years, Sylvia Workman of Cyclone; children, Michelle Workman of Cyclone and Rebecca Workman of Cyclone; step children, Adam Stewart and fiancé Jeanie Scarberry of Lynco, Paris Stewart and wife Karen of New Richmond, Christy Bailey and husband Jimmy of Cyclone, and Mary Muhamad and husband Nazar of Peterstown; grandchildren, Cody Jarrells, Starlena Salter, and Derek Hager; great grandchildren, Caitlyn Salter, Sothia Salter, and Makenzley Salter. Services for Bobby will be conducted at 2pm on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Cyclone Church of God with Pastor Bill Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Brown Cemetery in Cyclone. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm at the church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
