Philip “Lee” Parlier, Sr., 51 of Oak Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 5, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Born April 23, 1965 in Dover, Ohio he was the son of Evelyn Avis Parlier and the late Carl Parlier. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, David Parlier; grandparents, Phil and Leah Davis, Dan and Dorothy Parlier. Lee was a long time employee of Princess Beverly Coal Company, wrestling coach at Richwood High School, and a substitute teacher for both Fayette and Nicholas Counties. In addition to his mother, Evelyn, those surviving include Sherry Parlier; son, Philip Parlier, Jr; daughters, Ashley Parlier and Michele Morrison; grandchildren, Dylan, Daniel, Kaylee, and Patrick; sisters, Jenny, Linda, and Cheryl; and a host of friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11am Saturday, December 10, 2016 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill with Father Symeon Galazka officiating. Entombment will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Friday, December 9, 2016 at High Lawn Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
