Rodney Wade Prevette, 46 of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Bowers Hospice House following an extended illness. Born on May 27, 1970 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Diana Graham Prevette. Rodney was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a talented welder and high-wall miner operator. Despite his illness, he was of the Christian Faith and will be missed by all who knew him. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Ashton Prevette of Oak Hill, Savanna Prevette of Lebanon, PA, and Brian Prevette also of Lebanon, PA; special friends, John and Judy Scott of Fayetteville; siblings, Tammy Koontz and husband Tom of Fayetteville and April Rodgers and husband Okey of Columbus, OH; nieces and nephews, Nick Koontz, Sarah Koontz, Jacob Rodgers, Aubrey Rodgers, and Bailey Willoughby. Services for Mr. Prevette will be conducted at 2pm Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Bob Delaney and John Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Huse Memorial Park in Fayetteville where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at High Lawn Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
