Smoyer, Bradley "Brad" L., 57, of New Martinsville, WV died suddenly Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in Ontario, Canada, while on a fishing trip. "Brad" was born April 14, 1956 in Napoleon, Michigan son of the late Lyle and Lucille Forstner Smoyer. He was an International Representative for the United Steel Workers, an officer and member of New Martinsville Moose Lodge No. 931, loved to fish, bow hunt and golf and a Protestant. He is survived by his wife of ten years, Kenna Cozart Smoyer; five sons, Spencer and Zach both at home, Ty Smoyer New Bern, NC, Capt. Brent Smoyer, PA-C of Memphis, TN and Blake Smoyer of Jackson, TN; daughter, Stephanie (Lucas) Martin of Wilmington, NC; two brothers, James "Jim" (Cheri) Smoyer of Sandusky, OH and Steve (Shirley) Smoyer of Napoleon, MI; two brother-in-laws, Mike (Rosy) Cozart and Todd (Heather) Cozart; nephew, Shayne (Lisa) Smoyer; four nieces, Krisha (Chad) Capizzi, Lindsey Gifford, Mackenzie Smoyer and Kylie Cozart and several great nieces and nephews and six special companions, Holly, Hunter, Hailie, Ely, Daphnee and Colby. Friends received 2-4 and 6-9 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2013 at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV where service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 with Rev. Lisa Davis-Heller officiating. Interment to be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made, in "Brad's" name, to Moose Charities/WV House, 155 S International Dr., Mooseheart, IL 60539.
