Kathy Sue Ison Fluharty, 69, of Sistersville, WV died at her home on Christmas Day while surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was born June 14, 1947 in New Martinsville, WV, daughter of the late Daryl and Maxine (Rothlisberger) Ison. She was an agent for City Wide Insurance in New Martinsville, avid at crocheting and loved bowling, belonging to a former league and 1964 Magnolia Homecoming Queen. Surviving are her husband, Richard J. Fluharty; four sons, Joseph (Karen) Fluharty of Sistersville, WV, Richard (Tamara) Fluharty of Gahanna, OH, Lonnie (Ginger) Fluharty of Ocala, FL and Michael Fluharty of Shadyside, OH; seven grandchildren, Taylor Darnell, Morgan Darnell, Forrest Fluharty, Robert Fluharty, Samantha Fluharty, Justin Fluharty and Ava Fluharty; brother, Lonnie (Chris) Ison and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends received 5-7 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville where service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016 with Pastor David Roberts officiating. Interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
