Phillip E. Lowe, 74, of New Martinsville, WV died Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Wetzel County Hospital. Phillip was born May 2, 1942 in East Liverpool, OH, son of the late Paul E. and Blanche V. (Miller) Lowe. He was a retired employee of the former Ormet Corp., very proud of his completing the WV State Police Academy; he loved fishing, more fishing, a little bit of hunting followed by more fishing, life member of the Sistersville Elks #333 and a member of the Pine Grove Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Lowe; daughter, Kimberly Crites and brother, James Lowe. Surviving are his wife of thirty-seven years, Mary (Beagle) Lowe; three sons, Phillip (Amy) Lowe II of Jacksonburg, WV, Kevin (Lori) Lowe of Smithfield, WV and Mike (Cheryl) Mitchell of Jacksonville, FL; sister, “Sue” (Junior) Fox of Sistersville, WV; twelve grandchildren; nineteen and half great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends received 1-5 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2016 with Ed Melott officiating. Interment to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.
