James Haught

James “Frank” Franklin Haught, Sr., 81, of Reader, WV passed away at his home Thursday, December 15, 2016. Frank was born May 3, 1935 in Reader, WV, son of the late James W. and Onda (South) Haught. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Bayer Corp, a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, and member of the First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, James Franklin Haught, Jr. Surviving are his wife, “Gerri” Geraldine (Anderson) Haught; five children, Carol Haught of New Martinsville, WV, Dean (Heather) Haught of Harpers Ferry, WV, Lori (Steve) Gill of Oak Hill, WV, Donna (Melvin Norris) Williams of Reader, WV and Lisa (Randy) Phillis of New Kingsington, PA; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Wilda (Bob) Williams of New Martinsville, WV and Susie Haught of Reader, WV; five brothers, Robert (Clara) Haught of Piney, WV, Carl B. (Lucille) Haught of Reader, WV, Dave (Pat) Haught of Piney, WV, Gorden Haught and Tom (Betty) Haught both of Reader, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends received 1-7 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, WV. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, December 19, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Pine Grove near Reader with Jerry Kuhens officiating. Interment to follow in Milburn Cemetery. Honor guard will conduct graveside services. Memorial contributions may be made, in Frank’s name, to Journey Hospice, 314 S Wells St., Sistersville, WV 26175 or to either St. Jude’s Children’s or American Cancer Society.
