Kenneth R. Lantz, 67, of Saltwell Rd., Shinnston, passed away on July 7, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Morgantown, May 28, 1949 a son of the late Amos Roy and Eldean Victoria Winters Lantz. Surviving are one daughter, Elly Lantz, West Milford, one son, Kenny Lantz and his wife Brittany Conely, Rivesville, one grandson, Creedon Jenkins, one brother, Robert Lantz and his wife Wilma, Jeanette, PA, two sisters, Janet Ash and her husband Al, Wallace, Ruth Heldreth, Bridgeport, several nieces and nephews, and two special friends, Rich Cartwright and his fiancé Debbie Mullins. Kenneth was a Vietnam veteran having served with the United States Army. He attended Trinity Assembly of God in Fairmont. In Kenneth's spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a handy man who helped people with their projects. The family will receive friends at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 9am until the time of the service at 11am, Friday, July 15, with Pastor Richard Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery in Aurora, WV where full military graveside rites will be accorded. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.perinefunerals.com.
