Irma Gibeaut

Irma F. Gibeaut, age 95, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2016, at the Sauk County Health Care Center in Reedsburg. She was born on October 11, 1921, in Ironton Township, Sauk County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Clarence and Edna (Selden) Pearson. On February 28, 1940, she was united in marriage to Kenneth O. Gibeaut in Decorah, Iowa. They farmed the family farm in Ironton before moving to Reedsburg. She enjoyed gardening, canning and cross-stitching. She truly enjoyed her grandchildren also. Irma was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church, Reedsburg. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth on June 16, 2010; son-in-law, Jim Frank; brothers, Harold (Irma) and Wilbur Pearson. She is survived by her daughters: Jean Frank and Sharon (Jim) Warn both of Reedsburg; Grandchildren: Lori (Keith) Klipp of LaValle, Brian (Ingrid) Frank of Mt. Horeb, Brenda (Pete) Merschdorf of Muskego; Great-Grandchildren: Kiersten and Ethan Frank, Emma, Jack and Alex Merschdorf; Sister-in-law: Anita Gibeaut of Reedsburg; Nieces, nephews, cousins, along with other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Irma Gibeaut will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 3, 2016, at the United Methodist Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Marvin Singh officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church. Memorials of remembrance may be made to the Sauk County Health Care Center or the United Methodist Church, Reedsburg. The Farber Funeral Home of Reedsburg is assisting the family with the arrangements.
