James Massari
James R. “Bones” Massari, age 78, of LaValle, passed away on December 4, 2016, at his home. He was born on August 5, 1938, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the son of Adam and Maddaline (Neeve) Massari. On June 23, 1962, James was united in marriage to Sheryl (Parmenter) Massari. They were blessed with three daughters: Michelle (Glenn) Sullivan, Lisa MacAskill and Kris Massari. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Eugene. James is further survived by eight grandchildren: Teirney (Kevin) Macovec, Tanya (C.J.) Wischmann, Anthony D’Agostine, Tara (Ben) MacAskill, Jon (Liz) MacAskill, Eric (Taylor) MacAskill, Tom (Shea) Kraeplin, Cody Kraeplin; seven great grandchildren; six sisters: Dorothy Mlsna, Rosemary Singletary, Rita Keller, Susie Smith, Theresa Penshorn, and Patty Kosak. A private family Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the LaValle Fire Department or the LaValle Sportsman’s Club in James’ name.
