Susan Carol [Sainsbury] Hill, age 69, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Reeds¬burg Area Medical Center. Susan was born in Baraboo, WI on May 17, 1947, to Dorothy (Bible) and Glenn Sainsbury. Her father died when she was 1 year old. Dorothy later married Kenneth Luetkens, whom she knew and loved as her Dad. Susan was married on February 8, 1975, to Darwin Hill. Together they lived and worked on their farm outside of Wonewoc until 1980. She then had worked many part time and full time positions prior to retiring from Reedsburg Area Medical Center. She was known as Sue to most of her family and friends. She was proud of her family and loved them all so much including her many cats throughout the years. She is survived by her husband, Darwin Hill; Sons: David Hill Heiney, Damon (Erika) Hill, Darin (Sarah) Hill; Grandchildren: David Jr., Dustin, Dylan, Bethany, Denver, Gretchen and Delana; Parents, Dorothy and Kenneth Luetkens; Siblings: Lee (Karen) Luetkens, Glenna Rathman, James (Carol) Luetkens, A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM. A Celebration of Life will follow from 12:00 until 4:00 PM at the Reedsburg VFW Hall, Veterans Dr. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Sue was a special lady to everyone that crossed her path, from being a proud and loving mother and grandma, to a crazy, outspoken, caring, loving friend to all. Her time was too soon, but we now know there was a special need for a Christmas angel. Sue will greatly be missed and we know that she will have heaven all cleaned up and awaiting on our arrival to reunite. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Reedsburg Area Medical Center ICU staff for their special care and support. God took you home. It was His will, but in our hearts you liveth still.
