Dolores Marie Channell

Dolores Marie Channell, 88, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017, at the Davis Hospice Center. Dolores was born May 11, 1928, in Ticonderoga, New York, daughter of the late Rupert P. and Izetta M. (Raino) Markee LePann. Dolores had many interests including playing golf, tennis, enjoying the outdoors, modeling and art. She also taught aerobics at Rocky Mountain Health Club and attended St. Mary’s Cathedral. Dolores is survived by son, Kirby Hamel; three step-children, Duane Channel, David Channell, and Diana Channell Chenevert; and a grandson, Gregory P. Hamel, Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Arnold J. Hamel; second husband, Dyle A. Channell; and son, Gregory P. Hamel, Sr. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with a Vigil for the Deceased to follow at 2:00 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, January 9th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral with interment to be held in Mountain View Memorial Park. A reception will follow at the Schrader Reception Center.
