Obituary for Toni J. Paxton

Toni J. Paxton, 57, of Windsor, Missouri, died Tuesday evening, March 11, 2008, at her home in Windsor. She was born March 13, 1951, in Windsor, Mo., the daughter of Thomas Lee Wilson and Barbara Nadine (Howe) Wilson. On August 7, 1969, in Leeton, Mo., she married Larry Benton Paxton, who survives of the home. Toni moved to Knob Noster shortly after her marriage then later moved to Leeton, Mo. In 1983, she and her family moved to Windsor. Toni worked as a dental assistant in Windsor for over 25 years. She had worked for Dr. William Marchbanks, Dr. Stan Yoder and most recently for Dr. Paul Griner. She loved cooking on Sundays for the family, playing golf, antique shopping, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was also a member of the Windsor Country Club. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Matt Paxton and his wife, Michelle, Windsor, Mo.; a daughter, Becky Fitzpatrick and her husband, Randy, Windsor, Mo.; her mother, Barbara Dowty, and step-father, Dean Dowty, Windsor, Mo.; 2 brothers, Steve Sadler, Windsor, Mo.; Tom Wilson, Owasso, Oklahoma; 3 sisters, Donna Fae Spickert and Marcia Ellis, both of Columbia, Mo.; Laurel Gay Ranallo, McKinney, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Rylee D. Fitzpatrick; Aleah Paxton; Cadyn Paxton and Braylin Paxton; numerous nieces and nephews. Toni was preceded in death by her father. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m., Friday, March 14, at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, Mo., with Rev. Myra Torrance officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., before the service at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, Mo. The family suggests memorial contributions to Laurel Oak Cemetery, in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be left online at www.hadleyfuneralhome.com.
