Evelyn M. "Nana” Harris, 91, of South Windsor, the wife of the late Howard Balch Harris died Sunday (July 2, 2006) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Littleton, NH she was the daughter of Arthur and Nellie Bilodeau. Evelyn was a faithful and loyal worshiper of Jehovah. Nana was a wonderful woman who was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters Janice E. Thomas of Sarasota, FL and Nancy Brand of South Windsor; her grandchildren, Nancy Yandell, Richard C. Thomas III, Paul E. Thomas and his wife Valerie, Laurie Lawson and her husband David, John M. Brand and his wife Diane, Janice A. Shemanskis and her husband Gerald, and Kristie Bonney and her husband K-C; fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; her siblings Trevor Bilodeau, Fred Bilodeau and Kathleen Barber and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her sons-in-law Richard C. Thomas and MacDonald H. Brand and six siblings. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday (July 5, 2006) at 5 pm at the Kingdom Hall of South Windsor 630 Burnham St. South Windsor. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester has care of arrangements.
