Obituary for Patsy Leonard

The death occurred on Saturday, July 9, 2005 of Mrs Patsy Leonard [nee Morin]. Mrs Leonard passed away suddenly at her home in Cobalt at the age of 55 years. Born on May 6, 1950 at Haileybury to the late Lionel [Con] Morin and Phyllis Evans. Patsy was educated at Cobalt and worked at Temiskaming Lodge in Haileybury for 21 years. More recently she was the owner of Gramma's Chipper in North Cobalt. On May 27, 1967 she married her loving husband Armand Leonard.

Patsy was predeceased by her parents; and sister Brenda Plaunt-Brunet. She is survived by her loving husband Armand Leonard, son Aaron Leonard [and Jean Belanger] and daughter Rhonda [and Vic] Legault. Also left to mourn are her precious grandchildren: Chelsea Leonard daughter of Aaron Leonard and Jill McDonald; Bradly and Trevor Legault children of Rhonda and Vic Legault; siblings: Denis Morin, Jack Morin and Gary Morin.

Visitation was held at the Buffam Lveill Funeral Home on Monday July 11, 2005 from 2: to 4:pm and 7: to 9:pm. Funeral service was held at St Paul's Anglican Church - Haileybury - Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at 11:am. Reverend Ken Amer officiated. Pallbearers were Aaron Leonard, Victor Legault, Jack Morin, Gary Morin, Derek Morin and Andy Brunet. There was also an Honor Guard which consisted of approximately 30 members of the nursing staff at Temiskaming Lodge. Relatives and friends attended from Barrie to British Columbia - all across Canada. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged
