Obituary for Dora M. Pascareta

Dora M. Pasacreta, 89, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Louis Pasacreta, departed this life on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Milford Hospital. Dora was born on September 28, 1916 in New Jersey, daughter of the late Willie and Clara Parkin. Dora worked as a cafeteria worker for Meadowside School. In her spare time Dora enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was also a member and current president of Golden Age Seniors in Bridgeport. Dora was a woman who had a strong presence in her family, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her loving children: Salvatore "Sam Pasacreta and his wife Ellen of Milford, Louis Pasacreta Jr. and his wife Donna Lee of Bridgeport, Ronald Pasacreta and his wife Diane of Milford and Russell Pasacreta and his wife Laura of Milford. Her brother, Frank Parkin, of SC. 11 grandchildren: Lynn Noyse, Karen Pasacreta, Kevin Pasacreta, Kenneth DePasacreta, Louis Pasacreta, Matthew Pasacreta, Laura Capio, Jason Pasacreta, Colleen Pasacreta, Russell John Pasacreta Jr., and Lisa Marie Pasacreta, along with 11 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband Dora is preceded in death by her son Kenneth Pasacreta and five siblings. Doras family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 from 5 - 8 pm at Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street, Milford. Family and friends will gather by 8:15 am on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Smith Funeral Home to form a funeral procession to St. Marys Church in Milford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery.
