Andrew Neet Aberdeen, Washington Obituary

Andrew Neet

Our loving father, friend, brother, and son passed away at his home, at the age of 51, enveloped by the love and support of his family and caregivers. Andy was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme IV brain tumor in July of 2006 and counted himself blessed to enjoy another three years with his loved ones. Andy is among the third generation of his maternal family living in the Wishkah Valley. He was the manager and head technician for Wishkah Cable TV after his father, Gayle Neet, retired until the business was sold in 2004, and also worked for Steve Pool as a fabricator. Andy was preceded in death by his father, Gayle Neet in 2005 and is survived by his mother, Rosalyn Inez (Olson) Neet, three brothers: Dennis Neet, Timothy Neet, and Jared Neet, and one sister, Sylva (Neet) Jurasin. He has eight children: Saige Thomas Neet (17), Kohl Andrew Neet (16), Kenzie Harper Neet (14), India Rebekah Neet (13), Suede Matthew Neet (13), Imari Hannah Neet (12), Ezra Zachary Neet (11), and Tommy Victoria Neet (10). Their sister, Reign Addie Stoddard (5) had adopted Andy also. Andy grew up within a large extended family--loved and was loved by all. Andy enjoyed dirt bikes, mountain biking, camping, jet-skiing, snow-skiing, and inventing then working on projects with his kids in his shop. He was curious, grateful, and always gracious to those in need. The family gives our gratitude and thanks to Andy’s Hospice nurse, Kim Bair, and his caregivers: Becky Queen and Timothy Neet, and to all those who prayed, offered encouragement, and gave a helping hand. His friends and family are invited to a memorial potluck on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 at 2:00pm at the home of his sister and brother-in-law’s house, Philip T. and Sylva Jurasin at 5008 Wishkah Road, Aberdeen. Please call 533-1090 for directions.
