The price of these selections also includes the funeral home’s care of the flowers after the funeral and the delivery to the family or facility of choice where they can be rearranged and enjoyed by others for a longer period.

Memorial Candles

A Perpetual Tribute

The solitude and quiet peace of a flickering candle has long been a symbol of remembrance. Each candle lit will remain lit within this memorial website for the period you select. Your thoughtful gesture will be captured both in the candle as well as listed in perpetuity within the tributes section.

Memorial Trees

Circle of Life

In today’s changing world with climate change and environment concerns, “Honoring a Life” allows for family and friends to plant a memorial tree in honor of their loved one and friend. The purchase of a tree creates a beautiful permanent record on the Honoring a Life website, Each tree is planted through the efforts of Forestry Services throughout North America who determine where the greatest needs for reforestation are. Once planted, the geographical location where the tree is planted will be added to the record. A beautiful card is also sent to the family signifying your thoughtful gesture.

Obituary for Mark Leland Chambers

Mark Leland Chambers, 47, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, November 18, 2005 in Corvallis.

He was born July 29, 1958 in Lebanon, the son of Henry and Virginia (Vigus) Chambers.

Mark was raised in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1977. He was always happiest outdoors, no one was going to keep him cooped up inside. He loved driving around in his Ford pickup giving his opinions and laughing with friends at Appletrees, Pineway, and the Lebanon Bowling Alley. As soon as Detroit was full of water, you would find him at the lake fishing, camping, or just being in his boat looking out over the lake.

Mark has many friends in the Salem area where he worked his business, Marks Tree Service, for more than 20 years. Mark moved back to the Lebanon area in 2002 where he could be close to family during his illness.

Mark is survived by his son: Carey Leland Chambers of Orofino, Idaho; his parents: Henry and Virginia Chambers of Lebanon; sisters: Linda Fuller and her husband Don of Sacramento and Leann Dunn and her husband Patrick of Lake Oswego; his niece: Kimberlee Hiuga of Sacramento; and 3 nephews: Tommy Hiuga of Sacramento, Matthew Reed of Lake Oswego, and Byron Fuller of Cambridge, Massachusetts.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26th at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Lebanon.

Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Lebanon or Benton Hospice in care of Huston-Jost Funeral Home, 86 W. Grant St., Lebanon, OR 97355.
