Obituary for John Claude Tharrett

John Claude Tharrett II, 60, of 331 S. Lawrence St., Middletown entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 17, 2010 in the Hershey Medical Center. John was born on March 3, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan and was the son of the late John Claude and Claire Rush Tharrett. John was a Marine Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. John was a past employee of Karns Foods, Middletown. Some of John’s many hobbies were fishing, hunting and scuba diving. John is survived by his wife Peggy Miller Tharrett; three sons, Louis Miller, John Tharrett III, and Christopher Tharrett all of Middletown; two daughters, Stacie Tharrett of VA, and Alexis Tharrett of Manassas,VA;one sisters, Lisa Tharrett of Detroit, Michigan; seven grandchildren, James Buckner, Destiny Duarte, Darren Knight, Diamon Knight, Tysha Tiardo, James Benton Jr., and Jordin Tharrett. Services will be at 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown with the Rev. Kimberly Shifler officiating. Viewing will be from 11:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
