Obituary for Paulette P. Doughty

Paulette Pyron Doughty was born to Dorothy N. Satchell and the late Bruce Savage on March 23, 1949 in Craddockville, Virginia. She departed her earthly life on June 28, 2010 at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, Maryland. Paulette was educated in the Accomack County Public Schools and later attended Business College in Passaic, New Jersey. Prior to her illness, she worked as a Senior Bank Teller for Maryland National Bank for approximately 20 years. At an early age, she confessed her faith, was baptized, and joined Shiloh Baptist Church in Painter, Virginia. In 1980, she married Ray Doughty. She was a loving and caring wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed watching television, playing bingo, playing electronic games, spending time with, and cooking for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Pyron, Dad, John T. Satchell, and brother, Arcee Pyron, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Ray Doughty of Baltimore, MD; mother, Dorothy N. Satchell of Exmore, VA; one daughter, Melissa (Darrell) Satchell of Olney, MD; one son, Richard Pyron of Baltimore, MD; one stepson, Bryant Harmon of Craddockville, VA; four brothers, Bernard Pyron of Exmore, VA, James Allen Pyron of Atlantic, VA, Alex (Emma) Satchell of Craddockville, VA, and Douglas (Karen) Selby of Norfolk, VA; four sisters, Loretta (Ralph) Johnson of Craddockville, VA, Martha (Jerome) Geathers of Orangeburg, SC, Francina (Harry) Chisum of Craddockville, VA, and Mildred Jones of Chesapeake, VA; two sisters-in-law, Rosie Pyron and Almeta Smith; one brother-in-law, Arthur Lee (Francina) Doughty; four aunts, Mary Bunting, Barbara Bunting, Mildred Johnson, and Sarah Harmonson; one uncle, Milton Savage; eight grandchildren; close friends, Agnes Luster and Joyce; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
