Richard Turner

Mr. Richard “Rick” Turner, age 40, of Bristol, Virginia, formerly of Lebanon, Virginia, passed away Friday (August 13, 2010) in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. Born October 25, 1969 in Warren, Michigan, he was a son of the late Dewey Harles and Susan Elaine Lienard Turner. He was born and raised in the Detroit area before moving to this area ten years ago. He enjoyed cooking and was a wonderful caretaker to his father in his final years. Survivors include three brothers, Thomas Turner of Bristol, Virginia, Randy Turner of Bristol, Tennessee, and Steve Arnold of Santa Cruz, California; two sisters, Kristen Mickel of Shelby, Michigan and Tonya Barker of Bristol, Tennessee; four nephews, Raymond Cramer, Kaiden Turner, Josh Barker, and Brandon Barker; two special friends, Becky Turner and Alexis Shubert. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Turner Cemetery in the Crackers’ Neck section of Cleveland with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating. Interment will follow. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to assemble at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Burke, Chad Stevens, Jim Marshall, Roger Howard, and Bill Laury.
