Leanna Shugarts

Leanna Marie Shugarts, 17

of Frenchville died on Friday, May 23, 2008 in Girard Township, PA.

She was born on March 26, 1991 in Clearfield, a daughter of Susan (McCloskey) Shugarts of Frenchville and Randon Shugarts of Clearfield.

She was in the eleventh grade at Clearfield High School where she played soccer, served on the Prom Committee and a member of the Wrestlerettes. She was also a member of the Future Farmers of America and was an avid hunter.
She was employed at TMP-TAFCO.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by five brothers and sisters, Joseph Ianaro of Frenchville, Brandi Hugar of Frenchville, Allison Shugarts of Clearfield, Remington Shugarts of Clearfield, Brielle Mahnk of Clearfield, her step mother, Debra Shugarts,
her step father, Todd Hugar, her maternal grandfather, Ronald C. McCloskey of Frenchville, her paternal grandparents, Kay and Alice Shugarts of Clearfield and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Marjorie McCloskey, her maternal great grandparents Leo and Grace Billotte, her maternal great grandmother Agnes Valimont, her paternal great grandmothers, Mary Shugarts and Enola Owens.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday at
11:00 AM with Rev. Jay E. Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Karthaus.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 & 6-9 PM and on Tuesday from 10-11:00 AM.
