Obituary for Kaye Ellen Benson Lebrun

Kaye Ellen Benson LeBrun, 52, of East Hartford, left her loving family on Monday (April 27, 2009). Born in Hartford on July 26, 1956, a daughter of Glo and Bob Benson of East Hartford, she had been a life long resident of East Hartford. Kaye was a graduate of George J. Penney High School in East Hartford-Class of 1974 and was a long-time member of South Congregational Church in East Hartford. Along with her parents, Kaye is survived by her three children, USMC LCP Kenneth, Amanda, and Lindsay. Her siblings Karen,Kathy, Kris, Kim, Keith and their spouses; her loving ex-husband John 'Ray'; many other relatives, dear friends at the Heritage Gardens apartment complex, and her three cats. A loving mother, sister, friend and daughter, Kaye will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be Friday (May 1) at 10:30 a.m. with a celebration of Kaye's life at South Congregational Church, 1301 Forbes Street, East Hartford with Pastor Al Turner officiating. (Everyone is respectfully requested to go directly to the church on Friday morning). Burial will follow at Palmertown Cemetery, Scotland. Relatives and friends may call at the D'ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford on Thursday (April 30) from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions in Kaye's memory may be made to the South Congregational Church, 1301 Forbes Street, East Hartford, CT, 06118.
