Obituary for Wilma Allred

Wilma L. Allred, age 60, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007, at her Residence, in Muncie following an extended illness.

She was born May 18, 1947 in Glassco, Kentucky. She was a Nursing Assistant at Elm Croft for 6 years, and was a resident of Muncie since 1965. She was a member of the Red Hat Club, Muncie Lucky Ladies.

She is survived by her best friends: Barbara Richards, Annita Plumber, and Barbara Jackson. 5 children: Charles W. (wife Sharon) Allred, Vonda (husb Jon) Filameno, Randall Allred, Robert Allred, and Tonya (husb Scott) Hartley. 4 Brothers: Willis Anderson, Wallace Anderson, LeRoy Anderson, and Charles Anderson, all of Jamestown, TN. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Lee and Dorothy (Lowe) Anderson, and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Kay Moorehouse officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
