<p>Oxford- Ralph J. Standring, Jr, 65, of Oxford, died Tuesday in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Pauline (Grenier) Standring, his two children; Tammy M. Kalinowski, and her husband Ted of Grafton, Keith S. Standring, and his wife Bridgett of Centerville, GA, and four grandchildren; Mathew Batchelder, Amanda Kalinowski, Kamron and Kohen Standring, he leaves two brothers; Gary M. Standring, of Holden, Peter A. Standring, of Pawtucket, RI and a sister Kathleen A. O’Neill, of N. Oxford, among his survivors he leaves his former wife Paulette M. Seile of Grafton. He was preceded in death by his sister Linda A. Standring. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Ralph J. and Dorothy B. (Daly) Standring. <BR> <BR>He was educated at Worcester Boys Trade. He was a proud veteran; Ralph served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force. Ralph worked for the Town of Auburn in the highway and school departments for over 30 years. <BR> <BR>In his younger years he enjoyed drag racing and won numerous trophies. He enjoyed attending car and air shows with his children and grandchildren. Ralph was a licensed HAM radio operator. Ralph’s greatest love in life was spending time with his family. <BR> <BR>Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday August 28th from 5-8 PM at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral will be held Saturday from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford St. North, Auburn. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VNA Care Network and Hospice, 120 Thomas St. Worcester, MA 01608. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home for all their love and support. <BR></p>
