Marvin A. McNutt, 82, of Grants Pass passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass. No services are planned. Marvin was born on November 12, 1925 in Lexington, Oklahoma to Leslie and Edith McNutt. He served in the US Navy during WWII until his honorable discharge on May 22, 1946. Marvin married Marlynn Schneider on February 14, 1976 in Soldotna, AK. While living in Alaska he was a bush pilot for 50 years. He loved to hunt and fish and often guided hunting trips. They moved to Grants Pass from Alaska in 2002. Marvin was a member of the Old Time Fiddlers. Survivors include his wife Marlynn McNutt of Grants Pass and a sister Madella Ruth Vanderford of Tennessee. His brother Ray McNutt died before him.
