Obituary for Norma C. Loth

Norma C. Loth, 53, of 1619 14th Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center, following a tragic fall. Services: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2004, Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Linda Hansen Bibb. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2004, at the funeral home. Burial: St. Johns Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her husband, Charles V. Loth; a son, Steven J. Myers; her daughters, Laura C. Glubka and fiancé Mat Hentges, Sherry Collins and husband Paul, Pattie Loth, all of Cedar Rapids, and Pam Porter and husband Jamie of Texas; her mother, LaDonna Engle of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Linda Stolba and husband Russell; eleven grandchildren, whom were her pride and joy, Robert Jr., Stasha and Gabrielle Glubka, Timothy Hentges, Desiree Northrup-Myers, and Chelsea Myers, Emma Collins, all of Cedar Rapids, Trevor and Tara Portor of Texas, Jarred Hentges of Cedar Rapids and Kenneth Hentges of Mount Vernon; and a special aunt, Gracie Christensen of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Reidesel; and her grandparents, Melvin and Dorothy Kesselring and Gus and Emma Reidesel.

Norma was born December 10, 1950, the daughter of Norman Lee and LaDonna Jean (Kesselring) Reidesel, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Charles and Norma started a successful Karaoke-D.J. Business. They played at different locations around Iowa. This was something they enjoyed very much and made so many new friends whom would come see them regularly, "Anywhere! Norma always made everyone feel so welcome, always greeting them at the door! "Her Karaoke family and friends, including her special friends, Mike and Rene, will miss her terribly! She is loved by so many! She was a great wife, a wonderful mother and a very loving and proud grandmother. She will always be in our thoughts and cherished from "everyone and "anyone who has met her. Shes our everything, "now and forever!! Our lord called his Sweet Angel home.

A memorial fund has been established in Normas memory.
