Robert Witucki Obituary

WITUCKI, Robert (Bob), February 3, 1936 - January 13, 2010. Bob was born in South Bend, Indiana and lived in Tucson for the past 26 years. He was a very gifted athlete and played a short time for the Oakland Raiders as a tight end. He was a Eucharistic Minister and Catechist at San Xavier Mission for many years. He worked at Tucson Estates Foothills as a real estate broker and helped coordinate senior Olympics activities there. He is survived by his brother, Jack Witucki; sister, Judy Seifert; two daughters, Bobbi Tice (Tim), Kelli Carmichael (Grahm); four grandchildren, Sierra and Eric Santacruz, Ian and Calvin Carmicheal and former wife, Carole Arnett. He passed peacefully at his daughter Bobbi's house, next door to his house, surrounded by his family and close friends, after an eight month battle with esophageal cancer. Services will be held at San Xavier Mission, Friday, January 22, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Catholic Relief Services to help those in Haiti: 228 W.
