Connor James Guy September 9, 1980 â€" August 31, 2008 Dallas- Connor James Guy died in a canoing accident near LaPine, Oregon on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the age of 27. He was born September 9, 1980 in Salem, Oregon to Greg and Heidi (Shrader) Guy. He was a lifelong resident of Dallas, attending Dallas schools and graduated form Dallas High School in 1998. Connor continued his education at Oregon State University, graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Business. He worked at Dalton Rock for several years and was currently the shop manager for Commercial Ready-Mix in Salem. Connor married the love of his life, Kylie Jay on August 16, 2008 in Scio, Oregon. Connor is survived by his wife Kylie Guy of Dallas, his parents; Greg and Heidi Guy of Dallas, brothers; Ryan Guy of Salem and Tyler Guy of Dallas, grandfather; Lawrence Guy of Salem, grandmother; Ina Shrader of Salem and his beloved German Shepherd, Jake. A Celebration of Connorâ€™s life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 12:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dallas with a committal service following at Belcrest Memorial Park in Salem.
