Obituary for Norma DeGraff

Norma DeGraff, 93, a resident of Dallas died Friday, November 26, 2010 in the Dallas Retirement Village. She was born on July 2, 1917 in Hood River, Oregon the daughter of Arthur and Vera Holland Kolstad. Norma graduated from Hood River High School and went on to attend the University of Oregon for two years. She came to Dallas in 1945. Norma was married to Phil Hayter and George DeGraff and they divorced. She was a longtime member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and a homemaker. She volunteered with the Dallas Hospital with the Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Purcel of Dallas and granddaughters Sarah Purcel of Roseburg and Andrea Purcell of New York and a sister Jean Storli of Seattle, Washington. A private family service will be held. Memorials are suggested to the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in care of the Bollman Funeral Home at 694 Main St. Dallas, Oregon 97338.
