Terry Lynn Scudder, 52, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007. A native of Margaretville, NY, he was the son of the late John Wesley Scudder and Katherine Mary Reed Scudder. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran, recently working in Iraq carrying fuel for the Army working as a civilian. He was a member of the Franklin Health and Fitness Center and attended Truth Worship. Terry worked for Rhodes Brothers Paving. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Leslie Lynn Crane Scudder; two sons, Adam Scudder of Franklin and Terry Scudder, Jr. of New York; daughter, Rebecca Scudder of Winchester, VA; two step sons, Brian Reeves of Cashiers, NC and Matt Reeves of Franklin, NC; one sister, Karen Symonds of Franklin; three brothers, Jeffrey John Scudder and Timothy Patrick Scudder both of Cobleskill, NY, Thomas Gene Scudder of Port Charlotte, FL; three grandchildren, Wayne Reeves, Mitchell Reeves, Kaitlyn Reeves; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 25, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Watts will officiate. Burial will be in the Tellico Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, at Macon Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the March of Dimes, Pisgah Division, 37 Dogwood Road, Asheville, NC 28806.
