Obituary for A. Victoria Rigoli

Of Waltham, died unexpectedly Friday May 15th, 2009, at her residence. She was 82. Born on November 21, 1926 in Waltham, daughter of the late Victor and Anne (Cusack) Townsend, Vicky was a lifelong resident of Waltham. She had been employed as a Loan Officer with the former BayBank in Waltham for numerous years. In her spare time she was passionate about shopping and she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, that she cherished, and in return her grandchildren thought she “Rocked”. Beloved wife of the late Joseph William Rigoli Sr. She is survived by her loving daughters Barbara Boyce and her husband Raymond of Winter Springs, FL, Valarie Almada of Waltham, and Maureen Crayton and her husband Tom of Huntington Beach, CA, her step-son Joseph W. Rigoli Jr. of Owego, NY, her sister Marion Besso of Waltham, and her cherished grandchildren Jodi Magee, Daniel Almada, Meghan Boyce, Evan Crayton, Anthony Rigoli, Brittany Jo Rigoli, Michelle Streeter, and Rene’ Vallerand. In addition she is survived by 9 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Sister of the late Norman “Buffy” Townsend and grandmother of the late Sierra Rose and Logan Crayton. Funeral Services will be held from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM (BrascoFuneralHome.com) on Wednesday morning May 20th at 9:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Vicky’s Life in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of Saint Charles Borromeo Church, 51 Hall Street, WALTHAM at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum in Waltham. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday May 19th from 2 " 4 & 7 " 9 p.m. Parking attendants on duty. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
